We propose an introductory course
to rock climbing on the most beautiful cliffs
in the area of the Col del Lys.
PROGRAM
1st DAY
Lesson on knots, materials and roping operations necessary for safe climbing on the cliffs of the Valley.
2nd DAY
Entire day dedicated to teaching of basic climbing techniques that will allow you to approach this sport gradually.
3rd DAY
Advanced stage: having learnt the basic techniques, you can gradually approach more demanding routes during which the most advanced climbing techniques will be introduced. Entire day dedicated to climbing during which you will be able to try out everything you have learnt on the previous days on the cliffs of Tornetti di Viù.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
Although mountain climbing is involved, the program does not require any specific skills. All the climbing equipment and material will be furnished by the Alpine Guide. However, participants may use their own gear if available. Suitable clothing for the mountains is essential (shorts, thick socks, sweaters, jacket, etc.).
On request, advanced specialization courses for medium level and expert climbers.
THE PRICE INCLUDES
Days of competitive rock climbing; nights full- board accommodation at restaurant/room rental or agritourism center (according to accommodation available); lunch based on typical products at agritourism center (3rd day); 1 Alpine Guide for the entire program.
