(6 DAYS / 5 NIGHTS)
Paraglide in the sky, try to climb a wall of rock, saddle and ride a horse, cycle through
fantastic places, climb to a high-altitude refuge: a week that will take your breath away.
PROGRAM
1st DAY: Horse-riding
Lesson on theory of knowledge of the horse (how to
saddle a horse, horse-breeding, etc.) and horse-riding
lesson in an indoor riding school at the Trekking House
of Chialamberto.
2nd DAY: Paragliding
Lesson on theory followed by a trial flight accompanied
by a qualified instructor (“maiden flight”). The launch
site is close to the Santuario della Madonna del Ciavanis
(1,800 m).
3rd DAY: Ascent to the Bec di Mea
Lesson on basic climbing techniques followed
by a trial climb on the Bec di Mea cliff.
4th DAY: Mountain biking on the Sentiero Balcone
Mountain biking along the beautiful trail that passes
through the most famous Alpine villages and mountain
pastures of the Val Grande di Lanzo and which,
for its entire length, faces onto the valley floor with
stupendous, breathtaking views.
5th DAY: Excursion to the Daviso Refuge
Climb to the foot of the Eastern Levanna glaciers, one
of the highest peaks of the Lanzo Valleys, and overnight
stay at a refuge.
6th DAY:
Return to the valley and guided visit to the “I Castagni”
agricultural estate.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
All the equipment for the various sports is furnished
by the instructors. Suitable clothing for a mid-altitude
mountain climate is required. The program may be modified according to weather conditions.
THE PRICE INCLUDES
6 days of accompaniment, lessons and trials with professional instructors; 1 guided visit to the “I Castagni” agricultural estate; 4 nights half-board accommodation in hotel (tourist category) including packed lunch for the excursions of the next day; 1 night half-board accommodation at the “Daviso” mountain refuge; 1 lunch at typical restaurant; 1 shuttle service for the day dedicated to paragliding; insurance cover.
