of the most famous chefs, featuring wine cellars and cheese factories, apples and hazelnuts,
truffles and Barolo, torcetti and meliga biscuits.
PROGRAM
1st DAY
Arrive during the morning in the Lanzo Valleys.
Visit to the “Lanzo Valleys’ Toma Dairy” at Balangero and the “Poretti” chocolate factory in Mezzenile.
Lunch, with local specialities from the Lanzo Valleys.
In the afternoon, visit to the “Runch” farm holiday centre. In the late afternoon, transfer to Varisella in Val Ceronda and Casternone to watch torcetti biscuits being made. Transfer to Torino, dinner at your leisure and overnight stay in hotel.
2nd DAY
Breakfast in the hotel. Set off for Alba in the morning.
Visit of the city, which is famous for its numerous wine-producing and confectionery companies. Continue on to Grinzane Cavour, the prestigious setting of many cultural events and home of the Regional Wine Cellar.
Visit to the striking 13th-century Castle and lunch featuring local specialities at the Castle of Santa Vittoria d’Alba.
In the afternoon, visit to the Castle of Barolo.
This fascinating and striking building represents 1000 years of history, mystery and curiosity. Return to Torino.
